Position Title: Indirect Procurement Manager Reports to Title: Sr Procurement Manager Dept / Function: Procurement Mexico Location: El Salto, Jalisco * Summary:* The Manager, Indirect Procurement will collaborate with various Professionals of Mexico plants, including, but not limited to Engineering, Manufacturing, Facilities IS, Finance, and Legal to lead the development and execution of procurement strategies that drive improved business capabilities, provide best cost options, and control contract risk. The successful candidate for this position will have the skills and capabilities to build category strategies, lead sourcing events, negotiate with suppliers, and lead cross-functional sourcing teams. Communicate appropriate information to management. Job is performed with minimum supervision. * Responsibilities:* 1. _ Material Procurement_ 40% Lead the development and management of sourcing plans to proactively identify sourcing needs in support of business needs. Lead sourcing events and negotiations to achieve cost savings and cost avoidance targets, including large Request for Proposal (RFP) and other competitive bidding events including conducting due diligence on suppliers, contacting suppliers to communicate requirements, evaluating, optimizing, and negotiating received bids and summarizing findings with the Business Owner. Utilize spend analytics to identify areas of sourcing/savings opportunity in assigned categories. 1. _ Supplier Management_ 30% Managing, assessing and evaluating suppliers and provide periodical supplier performance report. Working alongside Business Owners to manage the supplier relationships to ensure service levels and contractual obligations are met. Develop and maintain Master Service Agreements (MSA’s), other contracts, and a list of preferred suppliers. 1. _ People Management_ 20% Lead and supervise that the goals of indirect procurement Team be accomplish; define and implement annual procurement strategy 1. _ Policy & Procedure Implementation_ 10% Ensure all purchases are conducted in compliance with Global Procurement Policy with proper documentation, processes and meet company systems requirements. Ensure the practice of the Code of Ethical Business Conduct. * Abilities required:* * Strong personal and professional values, impeccable integrity and the energy level and stamina required to meet the demands of the position. Possesses a self-starter mindset. * Strong, demonstrated skills and expertise in procurement and/or supply chain management. * Proven sourcing skills and expertise, and strong negotiation skills. * Experience evaluating supplier bids and conducting contract negotiations. * Ability to collaborate with internal departments, seek common ground and establish alignment on common goals. * Strong written and verbal skills with demonstrated experience communicating with business stakeholders and suppliers. * Problem solving and the ability to exercise good business judgment in a fast-paced working environment. * Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to prioritize in an ever-changing environment. * Strong financial and business mindset * Possesses exceptional planning and organization skills. * Willingness and ability to learn at a challenging pace and in a changing environment. * Education: * Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, supply chain, or equivalent. * Experience: * Minimum 5+ years progressive business experience with 3+ years in broad and deep procurement experience, experience of sourcing for food industry is preferred. #LI-JS1 #LI-Onsite
