Siemens Energy Head (f/m/d) of Network Services in United States

A Snapshot of Your Day

The position holder sets the framework for Digital Network (LAN, WAN, Remote Access, and supporting services), defines the future Connectivity operating model, defines the Network strategy overall, develops people and the overall maturity of the Network service portfolio in Siemens Energy. You are accountable for the complete Digital Network delivery. You deliver best-in-class services & customer experience by co-managing stable, secure, and resilient operations and by continuously improving the service portfolio. Services within the responsibility of the area are LAN, WAN, Remote Access Zero Trust, Firewalling.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Responsible for formulating and delivering the Network Services strategy, operating model design and execution globally.

• Ensure customer delight by fulfilling standard and non-standard requests in a cost efficient, highly resilient, and high-quality manner. Drive value for the customer through best-in-class technologies.

• Guarantee a stable 7/24 global Network operation.

• Ensure committed leadership with clear priorities and advanced people management skills. Build empowered, skilled, committed high performance organization across different cultures, time-zones and in different set ups (matrix, dotted/solid-lines, agile, different sourcing models). Sponsor and drive programs to make employees ready for the future.

• Own and ensure compliance relating to Outsourcing. Ensure compliance of suppliers to all applicable laws, customer, and regulatory needs.

• Financial accountability for Network services. Manage overall cost and achieve regulatory productivity.

• Further develop the organizational setup of the organization. Identification of necessary additional actions of change management in close collaboration with agile company.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or closely related subject

• 5 or more years’ experience in Network Architecture

• 3 or more years’ experience leading an Architecture team

• Demonstrated knowledge of Network Architecture

• You have high affinity to modern Digital infrastructure and knowledge of the essential, current technological trends in Digital Core

• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to present and discuss complex technical information in a clear and understandable fashion to the leadership team

• Proven architecture and service management skills according to ITIL practices

• Technical certification

• Proven project management and delivery experience across multiple countries, locations

• Language skills, English is required

You will be part of an international, distributed, and dynamic team that delivers high-quality Digital Infrastructure services for Siemens Energy. You will work with a mix of internal and external delivery partners, using ITIL processes and state-of-the-art tools. You will have the opportunity to design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure service delivery processes that enables our customers to optimize their energy consumption and production. You will also collaborate with other engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure that our infrastructure meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
