    Growth & Acquisition Client Executive

    Can you bring substantial sales and broking experience to a key, client-facing role? Are you keen to join our specialist Real Estate practice at what is an exciting time of growth, expansion and change?

    This role will implement the growth strategy to further embed Affinity within the dynamic real estate industry in Australia. You will be responsible for building relationships with clients and attendance at industry events with a focus on new business acquisition.

    This role will report directly to the Senior Client Services Manager Real Estate, Affinity.

    What the day will look like

    You will primarily be driving new business acquisition through direct and existing channel partnerships in line with the growth strategy. You will be required to travel both locally and interstate to attend client premises and key industry events.

  • Expand the portfolio of new client relationships and increase revenue across existing client base

  • Lead new business opportunities on small to moderate size, accounts within identified markets -working to clear KPI’s and targets

  • Work with prospects through several channels, such as face to face, email and phone

  • Research the market to develop a good understanding of client needs, industry risk and business environment

  • Advocate for customers through standard methodology and insurer negotiations to achieve the best outcome for customers

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to exceed customer expectations

  • Partner with external insurer stakeholders to build a strong solution network to exceed client expectations

  • Multi-tasking whilst navigating a range of technologies

  • Collaborating and sharing knowledge with colleagues across the team and business

  • Work within company policy, compliance, laws and regulations

  • Participate in self-training and mentoring sessions to keep knowledge up to date

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Experience in insurance sales, prospecting and relationship management, strong broking background

  • Experience operating in a sales environment achieving clear targets

  • Strong technical knowledge of insurance products required by small business

  • Commercial skills including ability to deliver and report on financials

  • Strong negotiating, listening and communication skills

  • Proven client management and relationship skills

  • Adaptable, focussed and self-disciplined, with strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability

  • Diploma of General Insurance or Diploma of Insurance Broking (advantageous)

  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking (required)

  • Experience using Salesforce in a sales environment (desired)

  • Experience identifying target markets to drive balanced growth (desired)

  • Experience in placing sophisticated SME and Micro-SME placements (desired)
