Titan America Financial Analyst in United States

TITAN Cement is seeking for a Financial Analyst who will be based in Nicosia, Cyprus and will be responsible for working collaboratively with the Financial Controller of TCI and all other administrative staff of TITAN GROUP's Holding companies in Cyprus. The Job holder needs to be self-motivated with ability to work independently and multitask, to ensure work is completed timely.

This role involves monitoring executive expenses, preparing payments, managing financial records, and supporting the operations of the Cyprus office.

The position reports to the Financial Controller of Titan Cement International (TCI).

What you will be doing:

Accounting

  • Monitor intercompany transactions for certain Holding Companies, coordinate with responsible individuals from other group companies, and record these in the Group’s reconciliation accounting package (ICS).

  • Record monthly financial statements of certain Holding Companies in the Group's consolidation accounting package (BFC).

  • Prepare reports on expenses of Holding Companies from key service providers and monitor them against agreed charges.

  • Occasionally record supplier invoices and bank transactions in TCI’s accounting system.

  • Provide data and documents to external accountants for the preparation of financial statements of certain Holding companies.

Payments and Banking

  • Prepare payments of third-party invoices, ensuring compliance with TCI's and other Holding Companies' agreed procedures.

  • Complete bank forms and collect KYC documents in collaboration with relevant staff of the cooperating banks, for TCI and other Holding Companies.

Expense Monitoring

  • Review and verify travel expenses for executives by analyzing expense reports and coordinating with accountants.

  • Monitor airline tickets related to executive travel, matching them with corresponding expense reports.

  • Oversee credit card charges for executives, collect related documents, and communicate with accountants. Inform executives about their card transactions and balances.

Operational Support

  • Maintain archive of Board of Directors and General Meetings' decisions of Holding Companies.

  • Maintain archives f for TCI (Cyprus) and Holding Companies, including loan agreements, provider contracts, payments, and information provided to banks.

  • Support the organization and operation of Cyprus offices, including managing internal and external correspondence, supplies, utility bills, and liaising with Group IT and IT consultants.

  • Maintain TCI petty cash.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.

  • Proficient in MS Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint.

  • Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.

  • 2-3 years’ working experience within the financial sector will be considered a plus.

  • Knowledge of SAP ERP environment will be considered a plus.
