Event Manager/Coordinator Location: San Francisco, CA/ Seattle, WA, Chicago, IL Duration: 12 months Description: Responsibilities : Drive Technology, Marketing, and Product (TMP) Roadmap Summit Event 3x per year, coordinating effort across out 20+ business & high priority initiatives Assist with key activities around data management, analytics, and reporting across our integrated planning processes for developing our long-range plans, quarterly business reviews, annual V2MOM and budgeting processes. Drive analysis to help build scalable processes for managing against our budget targets Work with Finance, recruiting, and planning business communities (COOs & TPMs) to ensure excellence in all operational and fiscal activities including staffing levels, budgets, and planning. Ensure that as we scale we stay true to our values of customer success, agility, and innovation. Requirements : 2+ years of experience working large events or meetings. Can manage small to medium sized operational projects and can works seamlessly in a matrixed environment. Very strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse team members and external parties. Strives for healthy collaboration. Bachelors degree from 4 year college or university. Masters degree preferred. Ability to oversee a variety of projects/programs simultaneously. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and high pressured work environment. Proven ability to iterate, focus on what is most important and continually improve. The role will require the candidate to project manage events and do operational work. Top 3-5 skill sets that would make a candidate stand out from the rest Event management experience, project management experience, excellent communication skills with experience interacting with diverse stakeholders, including Executives, and be able to work independently. Having a Client admin background is preferred. Candidate should be comfortable working with 60-70 people to project manage a large event end to end.
