Are you inspired to create a safe and enriching environment for infants and toddlers to grow and develop?

Join an organization which has been providing quality education services through the Head Start and Universal Pre-K models for over 55 years. As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you work with ACAP’s youngest customers in a structed classroom setting. You provide attention and care to very young children, helping them learn and socialize through enriching play and activities. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide safe and developmentally appropriate learning environments, programs, and lesson plans using the Early Head Start and Care/Primary Caregiver models

  • Prepare lesson plans and complete assessments, program notes, and other necessary documentation

  • Ensure compliance with all Early Head Start Standards and Office of Children & Services Day Care licensing regulations

  • Collaborate with families to develop positive relationships and ensure they receive quality education and support from ACAP and other community services

Starting at $18.35 per hour; Monday-Friday 35 hours per week

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 12 credits in ECE AND one (1) year of experience in infant/toddler care required. Will also accept a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential with an Infant/Toddler designation AND two (2) years of experience in infant/toddler care. Bi- or Multi-lingual skills are a plus.
