A Brief Overview
As a Director, Demand Planning, you will execute strategic and tactical activities supporting the demand forecasting and planning activities; participate in the development of highly predictable demand-based forecasts for all products within the supply chain; work cross-functionally to achieve organizational goals. Key metrics include but are not limited to forecast accuracy, backorder avoidance and days on hand inventory. Demonstrate operational and strategic knowledge related to supply planning and inventory management. Strong analytical and organizational skills are required in managing supply chain complexity and possess the ability to juggle multiple aspects of the job to drive key requirements and objectives.

What you will do
Develop accurate demand forecasts and models through continuous improvement of planning processes, including strategic alignment and resolution of backorders.
Enhance internal use of AI/ML for forecasting accuracy and collaborate with customers for supply chain digital capabilities.
Provide guidance and oversight to SKU-level forecasts, ensuring alignment with end-user direction and consistency with customer trends.
Contribute to short, mid, and long-term organizational goals with continuous improvement in forecasting and planning activities.
Drive functional performance to meet cross-functional standards and tackle complex problems for strategic decision-making.
Collaborate across functions to achieve organizational goals, drive product lifecycle decisions, and manage supply chain processes.
Lead team in planning multiple product categories, analyzing inventory levels, and support the optimization of supply chain operations.
Maintain stakeholder communication, analyze industry trends, and provide leadership for team development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Utilize data analytics to enhance supply chain efficiency, improve forecasting accuracy, and address demand-supply imbalances, correct errors, defects for all supplies purchased within the organization.
Manage team staffing, resources, finances, and provide strategic guidance to enhance operational performance and support decision-making.
Develop and leverage metrics to monitor demand planning performance and programmatic efficacy to continuous improve
Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Statistics, Business or a related field Required
Master's Degree Preferred
Experience Qualifications
Ten (10) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
If candidate has master’s degree, then 8 years of experience is required
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficient in using Workday ERP systems and Epic, with experience in supply chain management systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and management interactions
Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments, handle pressure, and meet deadlines with limited information
Exceptional analytical capabilities with a keen attention to detail
Skilled in working across various organizational levels and in both independent and team settings
Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and analysis
Deep understanding of Medical Device or Hospital Supply Chain operations and material flows
Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills
Effective conflict resolution and influence management abilities in a cross-functional role
Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking capabilities
Track record of executing tasks within tight timeframes with high accuracy
Experience leading master data technology initiatives
Skilled in clear, concise, and accurate communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and Data Analytics tools like Power BI
Familiarity with various databases and computer software applications
Preferred experience in project management and proficiency in Python

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $76.90 - $101.91 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
