Ferguson is hiring a Director – eProcurement to join our organization! The Director of eProcurement will facilitate and drive the enterprise-wide eProcurement strategy. The position will serve a lead role in enabling the business to achieve their objectives through the effective use of eProcurement. This leader will be a central partner collaborating multi-functionally to understand business group strategic goals, defining and executing comprehensive eProcurement plans to meet these goals, guiding integration improvements, and proactively reporting outcomes. The Director impacts the business by analyzing the current and future needs to identify and implement the best integration strategy for each business group and the Enterprise. Additionally, this role is responsible for eProcurement execution setting the key performance indicators and metrics to measure and report on the eProcurement performance and efficiency. You will also identify the best sources and opportunities in 3rd party relationships and strategic partnerships developing executive level relationships, negotiating optimal terms, and ensuring delivery of the highest quality of performance standards. The role works effectively across a heavily matrixed organization through influence to ensure appropriate allocation of resources are given to drive effective execution of business strategy. The position reports directly to the Senior Director, eProcurement.

This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States. This role will require occasional travel, when needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the eProcurement team with dedicated focus on eProcurement Enablement and Systems Integrations. Set the vision, define goals, and ensure seamless execution, ultimately driving the growth and success of our eProcurement solutions.

  • Establish thought leadership for eProcurement that shows a clear view of how the team will advance our integration objectives. Establish internal partnerships and alignment with all critical collaborators to the clearly defined strategy. Ensure we are working collaboratively with business groups to improve the value of the eProcurement together

  • Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and risk management for eProcurement and communicates results to executive leadership

  • Meet performance targets across eProcurement integration channels and Customer Groups

  • Collaborate multi-functionally to have a comprehensive understanding of the Enterprise and Customer Group Go to Market Strategy. Use this insight to develop robust eProcurement strategies. Be an active collaborator sharing data and insights to advise our Customer Groups to drive value for the business and customer.

  • Work with sales and business leaders to drive revenue and efficiency via the eProcurement channel and derive maximum benefit from integrated customer

  • Provide proactive performance reporting and insights to team members and leadership. Use the data to challenge the status quo in a productive and collaborative way to evolve Merchandising priorities and practices as needed.

  • Own eProcurement 3rd party relationships and strategic partnerships - identify the best sources and opportunities in collaboration with internal business collaborators, developing executive level relationships, negotiating the prices and terms, and ensuring the quality and performance standards

  • Become the subject matter expert in integrating with industry-leading procure-to-pay software providers. This expertise will empower you to offer valuable insights to business. This involves identifying potential early adoption opportunities and staying updated on new features.

  • Be a positive and vocal advocate for the Digital channel in support of the broader Enterprise strategic vision.

  • Demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management and executive presentation skills

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 7-10 years practical experience in managing eProcurement or digital procurement customer engagement.

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a leadership role with accountability for driving and meeting critical metrics at scale.

  • Qualifications either at educational level (Bachelor’s Degree) or equivalent experience level.

  • High level of technical knowledge of eProcurement and integration technologies (Hosted and PunchOut catalogs) and associated electronic integration protocols (cXML, XML, EDI, API) and the messages (Order, Confirmation, ASN, Invoice) and communication methods (AS2, HTTPS, VAN). Experience working with various eProcurement solutions (Ariba, coupa, OpsTech, Yardi, etc.).

  • Strong expertise in sales strategies and partnership development.

  • Consistent track record in sales and partnership management.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Adept at leading and performing organizational change effectively.

  • History of developing leaders and building a highly engaged organization.

  • Effective at creating and delivering audience-relevant and compelling presentations to large groups up to C-suite both internally and externally.

  • Data-driven and results-focused leader: must be able to apply data in an effective manner to positively influence outcomes.

  • Understand the complexities of customer behavior across a wide swathe of industries and segments and how to utilize insights and feedback to meet their needs.

  • Able to prioritize and delegate to meet the needs of the business.

Pay Range:

$9,409.50 - $17,467.50
