Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Corporate Sales Support Representative in the Global Sales Division. The Global Sales Division is responsible for developing powerful business relationships with companies and organizations from a variety of industries to help deliver room nights and revenue to our Franchisees. As a key member of our Corporate Sales Team, you will support a team of 8-16 Corporate Account Managers and Directors in maximizing Choice’s growth in the corporate segment.

The role will utilize Salesforce and other internal tools to gather customer requirements, research issues and produce professional reports and/or presentations on an ad-hoc basis. In this role you will liaise with customers and franchisees as well as collaborate with Choice departments such as Sales Analytics and B2B Marketing.

Your Responsibilities

• Conducts account research and provides reporting to support sales efforts, per the requirements of the team.

• Follows up on contracts and agreements to ensure completion and necessary implementation.

• Updates Sales Force and other internal databases per the requirements of the team

• Creates PowerPoint decks for presentation to customers.

• Generates ad-hoc reports for internal and external use.

• Provides administrative support as necessary.

• Attends internal and external meetings as necessary.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

• BA/BS degree desired or equivalent experience

• Prior corporate work or internship experience preferred.

• Well-versed in MS Office suite, with strengths in excel (pivot tables and V-lookup)

• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

• Demonstrates key competencies to include: Communicates Effectively, Ensures Accountability, Collaborates, Action Oriented

  Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director, Corporate Sales and you will support 8-16 Corporate Sales Managers and Directors. You will collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our Corporate Sales Support Representative, you will be a remote-based associate, working from your home. You will be required to connect virtually with Choice team members and leadership on video via Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams, with possible periodic travel in-person to our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide offices in Rockville, MD or Scottsdale, AZ. Frequent nationwide travel will be required up to 10% of the time.
