Coordinator of Special Projects (PT)

Salary:$23.00 per hour

The College is looking for exceptional colleagues to join the MVCC community. We are currently seeking part-timeCoordinator of Special Projectsin our Learning and Academic Affairs department. The Coordinator of Special Projects is responsible for assisting the Vice President of Learning and Academic Affairs (VPLAA) and the Director of Special Projects in managing special projects and unique student populations. They will enter and maintain data for special projects and special student populations, and coordinates and manages data and records for various reporting purposes.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Prepares documents under the direction of the Director of Special Projects and/or the VPLAA.

  • Coordinates the reporting needs for various Academic Initiatives.

  • Applies and tracks BANNER codes for special populations of students and assists with student and cohort tracking as needed.

  • Maintains databases by entering new and updated customer and account information.

  • Corrects and modifies inaccurate files and records.

  • Assists the Director and VPLAA with the coordination of a diverse array of academic projects.

  • Other duties related to the job description and as assigned by the Director of Special Projects.

    Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Management or related field

  • Effective communication skills (oral and written)

  • Proven organizational and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Proven ability to learn new databases and systems
