Co-op Analog Engineer

Job Description

Temporary full time (40 hours/week) Co-op/Intern position for 16 weeks from September 3 to December 20, 2024.

Our Analog design team is looking for a talented Electrical Engineering student to join our team as a Co-op in our Ottawa office. Our team works on integrated circuits design for clock and timing applications. The successful candidate will work directly with R&D Managers or Project Leads during their Co-op term/internship. A student working with the team can expect to learn different aspects of IC design process and tools during their time with our team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical literature study.

  • Analyze and simulate existing circuits.

  • Design trial circuits (depending on competency)

  • Documentation

Qualifications

  • Electrical Engineering student

  • Strong technical and scientific foundation

  • High interest in the field of Analog Electronics

  • Introduction to electrical circuit theory

  • Familiar with office applications (word, excel,) and mathematical tools (Matlab)

  • Familiarity with Cadence and Spice is a major asset.
