Summary:Responsible for assessing, educating, and making a decision regarding the nutrition therapy of patients.Responsible for assuring that nutrition care is provided and documented in accordance with policies and procedures as well as regulatory guidelines.Position Responsibilities:• Provide nutritional assessment, education, counseling and documentation.• Collaborates with medical professionals to assure patient nutrition needs are met.• Attends medical rounds on units where applicable.• Acts as resource for Healthcare Team as it relates to the patient.Required Education:Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics.Training/Certifications/Licensure:Valid registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD) or (RDE).
