Mental Health Partners Clinical Assessment Specialist | Child, Adolescent and Adults in United States

Profile:

  • Do you have experience in assessments and diagnosis of children and teens ages 4-18 yrs. old and adults, including substance use disorders and other mental health childhood disorders?

  • Are you knowledgeable of family system, attachment, and trauma theories and how they relate to mental health of children and teens?

  • Do you have experience and knowledge of mental health disorders across the age span?

  • Have you worked with outside referral agencies within a clinical setting?

  • Can you triage needs of incoming clients from a variety of diverse backgrounds on a continuum of needs including high needs situations?

  • Full Time 40 hours per week based in Boulder supporting other sites on a weekly basis with a months notice.

Purpose:

As our Clinical Assessment Specialist you will provide quality assessments of health home clients care needs and facilitates timely access to care as well as oversees ongoing evaluation of behavioral health needs to clients enrolled in a health home panel.

What we need for this job:

  • Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field, plus 1+ year internship, and 2+ years prior experience in a clinical setting; or related PhD plus three years prior experience in a clinical setting

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed PhD or PsyD or license eligible within six (6) months

  • Experience providing clinical assessments and brief intervention

  • Understanding of Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial Insurance coverage options and limitations; and ability to manage to payer-source allowances and restrictions
