Contract with Right to Hire Title or Role: Chemical Engineer Location: Humacao Length of Contract: 6 months+ Position Description: RCM is seeking a qualified Chemical Engineer to support the installation and operation of a distillation tower for the purification of ethanol 200 proof. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of distillation processes, environmental regulations, and chemical engineering principles. Responsibilities:

• Installation Supervision: Coordinate the installation of the distillation tower, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

• Process Optimization: Develop and implement efficient distillation processes to maximize alcohol recovery and minimize waste.

• Quality Control: Monitor the quality of the distilled alcohol, ensuring it meets the required purity standards.

• Validation: Conduct a comprehensive validation process for the distillation tower to ensure its design, installation, and operation meet the specified quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Environmental Compliance: Adhere to all environmental regulations related to the distillation process, including waste management and emissions control.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the operation of the distillation tower.

• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to the distillation process to identify areas for improvement.

• Safety Management: Implement and maintain safety procedures to protect workers and the environment.

  Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the field of chemical engineering, with a focus on distillation processes.

• Strong understanding of distillation principles, equipment, and operations.

• Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering (preferred) or a related field.
