JEVS Human Services Case Manager Assistant in United States

JEVS Human Services has an exciting opportunity with our Work Ready program as a Case Manager Aide. Work Ready provides a comprehensive set of employment-oriented services to those receiving Public Assistance benefits, including those who are in need of specific help managing barriers to self-sufficiency. As the Case Manager Aide you will be responsible for providing support and back up to the Case Coordinators and you will be responsible for completing counseling sessions in absence of the Case Coordinators.

This role is hybrid, based out of our Center City Philadelphia office.

Job Duties :

  • Network and establish working relationships; ensure effective, accurate and coordinated communication with County Assistance Office personnel and other agencies as needed

  • Prepare and maintain customer case files; maintain accurate and timely records of all case management/counseling sessions; maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all client information

  • In absence of Case Coordinator, accompany clients to necessary appointments and conduct home visits as needed

    Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of human service or case management experience

  • Ability to problem solve and collaborate with a variety of customers in the Welfare to Work Industry required

  • Proficient in MS Office applications (especially MS Word and Excel). Willingness to learn JEVS specific database and CWDS.

The base pay for this position ranges from $30,000 to $38,500 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
