CAD Operator

What we are looking for:

Aldridge is seeking a CAD Operator to join our dynamic and energetic team. This role is responsible for providing drawings and schedules for projects as required as well as maintaining highest levels of accuracy and productivity.

What you’ll do:

Duties including:

  • Operate intermediate to advanced AutoCAD functions

  • Operate BobCad software for CNC machining purposes.

  • Must be able to operate in a Windows environment.

  • Operate large document scanning equipment.

  • Operate in Microsoft Excel.

  • Report to work ready to perform assigned tasks by using established safe work practices.

  • Report all unsafe behaviors and/or conditions, near misses, incidents and injuries to your supervisor immediately. Take immediate action as appropriate if you observe something that could cause injury to a fellow worker.

  • Participate in all required safety training.

    Who you are:

    We are pursuing entry-level candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience (2-5 years).

  • Knowledge of proper drafting practices.

  • Electrical drafting experience preferred.

  • Ability to work with all levels of staff.

  • General understanding of construction standards, (ANSI, NEC, IBC, OSHA, etc.)

  • Ability to understand construction documents.

  • Knowledge of proper drafting practices

  • Formal reading and writing skills.
