PDI Technologies Business Development Representative in United States

Location: US Remote

What You Need:

  • 2 years of experience in Sales. Preferably in B2B Sales and or Inside Sales.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as being comfortable talking with internal and external customers in any setting.

  • Deep understanding of retail operations, inventory management and business fundamentals.

  • Refined interpersonal skills to engage with others, solid negotiating, and conflict resolutions abilities.

  • Able to foster teamwork and collaboration.

  • Comfortable with computers, various applications, technology, and internet.

  • Must have excellent attention to detail and follow up.

  • Excellent PC skills including knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.

  • Ability to work independently and during flexible hours.

    The Opportunity:

    We are seeking a driven sales professional to manage assigned customer accounts or prospects within a designated geography or industry. The role focuses on meeting personal sales targets, developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and troubleshooting specific customer issues. Excellent interpersonal skills and proven sales experience are essential for success in this position.     What You’ll Do:

  • Identify potential customers by obtaining information, referrals, and recommendations from existing customers and other contacts and/or through participation in trade shows and conferences.

  • Interview the customer, following a complex multilevel sales script, to clarify the customer's requirements, or assist in conducting interviews with potential customers, making detailed notes to collect client requirements.

  • Qualify Marketing Qualified Leads (PreOps) or accounts in a defined territory to develop new relationships which various stakeholders.

  • Identify the products or services that best meet the customer's stated needs, use personal expertise to propose quantities and product configurations, explain the selection to the customer, and invite the customer to make a purchase at the standard price/terms and conditions of sale.

  • Schedule follow-up actions and document relevant information into Salesforce to ensure the organization has quality data to enable effective customer retention and business development activities.

  • Coordinate the demonstration of the features/attributes of the product/service and support requests for detailed demonstrations.

  • Contribute and analyze information about costs and expected work delivery time frames to generate quotations and estimates for PDI solutions.

  • Conduct routine pricing and terms negotiation tasks according to established guidelines and under the guidance of senior staff.
