Description

The Home Design Team is seeking an innovative, action-oriented, and analytical Associate Program Manager with experience in photo and video editing to help us build next-generation shopping experiences powered by Generative AI technology.

This forward-looking initiative is an opportunity to leverage photography and videography expertise while leading day-to-day program management of a cross-functional team to reinvent the customer shopping journey with Amazon. The Associate Program Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end workflow to create visual assets at scale, including setting program goals, building and executing roadmaps, driving efficiencies in team processes, developing mechanisms to audit at scale, and reviewing learnings to continually raise the bar for the customer experience.

The Associate Program Manager has hands-on experience with program or product management in an interior design, photography, UX or design-related field. They know how to create visually appealing imagery and videos and hold a high bar for customer trust and operational efficiency. The Associate Program Manager is highly analytical, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, and is able to deliver on multiple projects in parallel. They are able to move quickly, spot risks, ask the right questions, clear blockers, and deliver results.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of a cross-functional team to deliver a bar-raising customer experience

  • Manage a team of internal contractors and drive collective progress and results

  • Track deliverables against work back schedules to ensure on time delivery

  • Communicate team progress to broader organization and to leadership

  • Perform QA and compliance checks for customer-facing products and develop mechanisms to scale audits

  • Influence partner teams to enhance tools and systems based on program findings

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly. Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented

  • Attention to detail and capability to work on multiple projects in parallel

  • Experience working in interior design, photography, visual merchandising, product marketing, or UX

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment

  • Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business “by the numbers”

  • Experience with professional photography and photo/video editing including photo-shop will be highly valued

  • Track record of managing and troubleshooting technical and business integration projects

  • Strong process definition and optimization skills; proven ability to define effective, efficient, and scalable processes and drive continuous improvement through root cause identification and defect elimination

  • Ability to deal with ambiguous problems and build solutions with proper project management

  • Aptitude for being organized with flexibility and for delivering results in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven track record of developing high quality interior design rooms and renders

  • Relentless customer focus

  • Experience running a social media handle related to shopping

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
