Description

The University of Rochester Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is recruiting for an Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at University Childbirth Gynecology Associates. Activities will be primarily based at Highland Hospital, and its outpatient Ob/Gyn practices.

The responsibilities of this position will include a combination of clinical and teaching activities, providing obstetric patient care on labor and delivery at Highland Hospital, providing gynecologic care for inpatients, surgical patients and emergency room patients at Highland Hospital, providing outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care at 777 Canal View, and providing call in the hospital in regular and equitable rotation with the other general obstetricians based at Highland Hospital. This call includes supervision of fellows, residents and medical students in the above clinical activities.

Qualifications

Qualifications

· M.D./ D.O. Degree or equivalent

· Eligible for a New York State Medical License

· Must meet all credentialing requirements

· Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required

· Compliance with University and New York State health requirements

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
