*About the Role:*

As the Assistant Finance Manager or Finance Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations, reporting to a Director, Finance Operations. You will oversee the daily operations of the finance department, maintaining the integrity of our financial information and ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific mandates such as travel license renewals, IATA compliance, and banking mandates. In addition, you will oversee the invoicing and client billing processes to ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition.

*Key Responsibilities:*

/1. Compliance and Internal Controls/

· Ensure compliance with local and country financial regulations and standards.

· Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.

· Coordinate with internal and external auditors for annual audits and ensure timely resolution of the audit findings.

· Oversee the renewal process for travel licenses, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted accurately and on time.

· Maintain compliance with IATA standards and regulations, and minimize any adjusted risk events.

· Manage relationships with banks and ensure compliance with all banking mandates and requirements.

/2. Financial Management/

· Oversee and maintain general ledger accounts according to Hong Kong accounting standards (HKAS) and US GAAP.

· Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).

· Work with the shared services team to review monthly end close, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.

· Manage the month-end and year-end close calendar and activities (TravCom and HFM knowledge is preferred).

· Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in finance operations.

/3. Invoicing and Billing/

· Oversee the invoicing and client settlement processes to ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition.

· Oversee and resolve issues on the cash application and credit card processes including declined charges and refund.

· Manage new client implementation and de-implementation financial process.

· Monitor account receivable aging, follow up on outstanding invoices, and resolve billing discrepancies.

· Prepare monthly and quarterly client settlements for key customers.

· Prepare account receivables and provision for doubtful debt and review.

/4. Team Leadership/

· Manage and support the Senior Accountant, providing guidance for growth.

· Foster a collaborative and positive work environment together with the shared services team in India.

/5. Projects and Others/

· Support and participate in ad-hoc or special projects as required.

· Manage employee compensation insurance renewal

· KYC support

Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (e.g., Finance). CPA or CPA equivalent is preferred. • Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role. • Strong understanding of HKAS and Hong Kong tax regulations and US GAAP. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). • Experience with TravCom and HFM is a plus. • Strong attention to detail, meticulous with a hands-on approach. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal for English. • Prior experience of working in a multinational environment.
