Bureau Veritas is seeking an Asset Management Program Manager who is responsible for supervising the overall operation of an Asset Management program potentially ranging from long term capital planning to ADA Assessments. The Program Manager will oversee multiple projects for one client and implement a clear line of communication between sales and technical operations. In addition, the Program Manager serves as a consultative resource for all existing and potential clients and may participate in presentations or trade shows as required.
This role requires a candidate located on the west coast.

The Asset Management division focuses on providing services related to the management, inspection, and certification of various types of assets, which could include industrial equipment, facilities, infrastructure, and more.
The Program Manager will oversee a team of Architects, Multi-Disciplined Engineers, Certified Energy Managers, and Building Analysts who provide clients with unbiased life cycle analysis of facilities with the unique conditions of Government, Education, Private, Industrial, and Commercial properties.
The Asset Management services that the Program Manager could oversee include:
• Facility Condition Assessments
• Capital Planning
• Energy Services
• Equipment Inventory & Tagging
• Preventive Maintenance Programs
• ADA Assessments & Consulting
• Feasibility Studies
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for proposal development of client and project specific scopes of work.
• Manages the engineering and architectural teams conducting field investigations, confirming existing conditions, deficiencies, and providing differential maintenance recommendations for all sites, buildings, building systems, and infrastructure.
• Directly interfaces with sales staff to assure clients' expectations and needs are being met and with the project managers, ensuring conformance of the program standards and procedures.
• Responsible for managing Public and Private Sector projects within budget and on-time.
• Performs technical review of deliverables for technical accuracy, client expectations, compliance of scope and consistency.
• Supervises and directs assigned Project Assessors. Determines work assignments, priorities and schedules.
• Possesses the ability to meet job requirements and perform duties of Senior Consultant/Project Managers, as needed.
• Have the ability to travel, on average, approximately 25% of time to client sites across the U.S. via plane and driving as determined based on the project location. Overnight stays away from home may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :
The role of Program Manager directs Project Assessors within the Asset Management Division on the specific programs by ensuring clear up front scopes are understood, visits and projects occur on time, issues are resolved, and technical decisions are made.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and/or Engineering or related field is preferred.
Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate a background in Facilities, O&M, and Engineering leadership in large scale institutional, retail, commercial, or government sectors.
MUST be located on west coast in the USA.
5+ years of experience conducting architectural and engineering assessments, building assessments/Facility Condition Assessments (FCA), Property Condition Assessments (PCA) and writing technical reports for K-12, Higher Education and/or Government facilities.
10+ years of experience in project and staff management.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Private/public sector, government and/or institutional clients,
Able to demonstrate an understanding of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Bonus for this role, not Required. Registered Architect, Professional Engineer, Certified Energy Manager
Valid driver's license is required with no significant MVA points/violations (clean driving record)
