Sapona Golf Swim and Tennis Club located in Lexington, North Carolina is seeking a parl-time, hourly Administrative Assistant to join our team. Please see a general job description below and should you feel your knowledge, education and experience could be a match, apply today!
Pay Range: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Golfing background/knowledge preferred
Job Description:
Provides clerical, sales support and member services/reception duties for department heads. Answer inquires and obtains information for guests and members. Provides information.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Composes and/or types routine correspondence including but not limited to: memorandums, letters, Club announcements, member newsletters and reports.
Answers member and prospective member questions with accuracy and efficiency.
Prepares and distributes various Club mailings including but not limited to: Club announcements, newsletters, sales information. Creates mail merges from electronic files.
Maintains adequate inventory of membership sales kits and various Club and Membership notices and information.
Operates key office machines including but not limited to: computer, calculator, fax machine and copier.
Orders and maintains office supplies and collateral for membership kits.
Performs various administrative and sales duties during Club events.
Maintains complete understanding of membership categories, sales processes and new member enrollment processes.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.

Degree/Licenses:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training.
Physical Demands:
Frequently sits, uses hands to finger, feel or handle, reaches with arms and hands, talks or hears. Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.
