Job Description
The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Texas A&M University-Kingsville invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Adjunct Faculty position in Computer Science beginning in Fall 2024.
Responsibilities:
Teaching up to four assigned Computer Science courses each semester at undergraduate and graduate levels. These courses may include introduction to Computer Science, Object-oriented Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, cybersecurity, analysis of Algorithms, Data Analytics, Computer Architecture, and Software Engineering.
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science or in a closely related area by the time of appointment. To teach specific courses, candidates must clearly demonstrate that their graduate transcript includes at least 18 graduate hours in those areas.
Preferred Requirements:
Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is desired.
