What we're looking for: We are seeking a seasoned marketing professional to serve as the primary day-to-day contact with clients and coordinate with the cross-functional team. The ideal candidate will: * Approach the client's business with a sense of curiosity and desire to improve the status quo * Have attention to detail day-to-day, but can look beyond the detail and understand how each piece fits into the bigger picture * Be passionate about direct marketing and generating results * Know when to take initiative and when to consult with their team * Be tenacious in the face of challenging circumstances * Take pride in being an extension of a Client's marketing team What you'll do: As an Account Manager at Data Axle, you'll manage tactical execution of marketing programs and manage client relationships. Clients will depend on you to make sure campaigns are done right and on time, and your internal team will rely on you to provide them with the information they need to get their job done. Your responsibilities will include executing and managing the creative development and production cycle for multi-channel programs (email, programmatic, social, search, direct mail). Including: * Partnering with Consulting (Strategy) for new campaign design, development and implementation, including media plan, creative brief and version plan development * Partnering with Data and Analytics teams for accurate targeting, data pull, tracking and reporting * Partnering with internal and external Web Production, Email Service Providers, and our in-house Digital Team for accurate and on time email and digital campaign deployment * Partnering with Print Production for accurate and on time direct mail drop * Serving as the primary liaison between the Client and all internal departments: Strategy, Creative, Data Management, Analytics and Web Production, Print Production and Digital (Display, Social, Video) * Nurturing and growing successful client relationships * Being an advocate for the Client, translating their needs into actionable direction for the Agency; and being an advocate for the Agency, selling in our ideas * Produces program estimates, timelines and budgets with accuracy * Presenting results and final reporting to drive more effective programs * Overseeing quality control at every step of the process and anticipating potential issues * Coordinating creative development for online and offline marketing channels * Maintaining creative / data segmentation version matrices * Maintaining daily status report * CRF development What's in it for you: You'll join a team of experienced direct marketing professionals who understand all aspects of direct marketing and who want you to be an integral part of the team. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent * 2-4 years related experience in an agency environment and client-facing role * E-Mail & Digital experience required; Direct Mail optional * Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook * Excellent verbal, written, negotiation and presentation skills * Strong organizational and project management skills * Exceptional standards for quality and strong attention to detail * Ability to adapt to rapidly changing expectations and build effective relationships across the organization Role is home-based, so it requires connectivity to email and phone from home. Occasional (10-15%) travel may be necessary.
