• Foster good relations with community leaders and informal influencers.

• Manage daily department operations, including planning and oversight.

• Develop and implement departmental standards.

• Ensure high-quality execution of patrolling, inspections, and escorts.

• Monitor and uphold product and performance standards, taking action as needed.

• Enforce a no-carry policy for firearms and other weapons among staff.

• Supervise emergency drills and training.

• Oversee security personnel layout and training, including leadership training.

• Analyze incoming reports and devise action plans accordingly.

• Maintain loyalty and discipline among security personnel.

• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures by all security and hotel staff.

• Collaborate with senior hotel staff and other hotels.

• Coordinate with local investigators for handling crimes and accidents.

• Prepare security plans for specific events.

• Demonstrate awareness and adherence to OH&S policies and procedures.

• Ensure safety procedures are followed by direct reports.

• Be knowledgeable about property safety and emergency procedures.

• Take corrective action for hazardous situations and report potential dangers.

• Document security incidents and accidents as per hotel requirements.
