Description and Requirements

The Accounts Payable Team Leader is critical to drive timely and accurate execution of accounts payable processes in benefit of Lenovo’s compliance and overall cash position.

These are your detailed responsibilities:

  • Build new small centralized team supporting EMEA AP operations primary based in Bratislava

  • Lead and fully support transition and centralization of AP operations from local teams

  • Actively support knowledge transfer and drive standardization of AP processes

  • Proactively lead and support automations and process enhancements to bring efficiencies

  • Lead and support a team of AP analysts to ensure execution of timely and accurate payments and meeting KPIs

  • Build new BMS (Business measurement system)

  • Comply with Accounts Payable operating controls and processes

  • Day to day operations such as: external communication with vendors, internal communication with requestors, AP CoS communication (missing data and documents, insufficient / incorrect invoice, validation), support audit on providing documents and explanation

Organization

You will report to EMEA AP/AR Senior Manager.

What you’ll bring:

  • 2-3y+ years of experience in Accounts Payable area

  • Team leading and/or Project Management experience is must

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Advanced MS Excel and technical skills is a plus)

  • SAP experience is a plus

  • Effective written and oral communication in English

  • Strategic and innovative thinking with a focus on process improvement

  • Goal-orientated individual with good time and task management

  • Methodical person with good analytical skills

  • Minimum education – Bachelor’s degree (Economics / Finance / Business Administration is a plus)

Base gross monthly salary from 1850 EUR, depending on experience + variable part 12% of your annual earnings
