Primary Purpose of this Position:

You will be providing technical support to the accounting team as first point of contact on accounting issues and assisting in the preparation and review of the accounting close and related reporting deliverables. You will be also providing training for new and existing accounting team members, including related documentation of work procedures and BPNCA divisional accounting policies.

What will you be responsible for?

• Supervises the work product of accounting team members to include ongoing development and formal reviews of staff performance.

• Works with a results-oriented mindset in the performance of month-end close accounting responsibilities including the review and posting of month end journal entries created by other accounting team members.

• Leads divisional projects with an approach that embraces adaptive change. Works as a cross functional relationship builder to drive value-added initiatives.

• Acts as first accounting point of contact for technical accounting issues and is a subject matter expert on revenue recognition, cost accounting, transfer pricing, and hedge accounting.

• Develops and monitors procedures and guidelines for the division accounting organization including the maintenance of beverage division accounting policies.

• Trains new hires within the department. Facilitates ongoing training of the accounting team in areas of accounting, finance, IT, or other relevant subjects. Is recognized as a leader within department through authentic relationship building.

• Drives for results in the timely preparation and analysis of divisional financial results for the corporate consolidation and BPNCA management reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Develops leadership presence through authentic interactions with less experienced members of the accounting team by acting as a primary resource and first point of escalation on accounting issues.

• Is a primary lead on changes to JDE, structural changes, documentation, and change management.

• Fosters critical relationships and business partnership with key cross-functional stakeholders. Plugs into the business appropriately to identify and communicate the story behind the numbers. Identifies connections between the numbers, processes, and people that translate into breakthrough strategies.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.

• Minimum of 5 years experience.

• Knowledge of advanced accounting principles, practices, nomenclature, and procedures.

• Knowledge of JDE or other relevant ERP systems, Essbase, computer spreadsheets (Excel) and word processing (MS Word) programs.

• Required proficiency in the English language.
