Emerson Manager - AP Power Industry in Singapore

Job Summary

If you are a Business Development professional, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! As the Manager - Power Industry, you are responsible in growing market share within Asia Pacific by driving growth programs, Strategies, Market gap analysis and product differentiation. You will work with sales channels to develop industry situation knowledge and collaborate with other pillars and business units to grow into white space.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Provide strategy to sales channel and collaborate with regional sales to grow Flow Controls market share in the industry

  • Leverage products, industry knowledge and process solutions to drive “Fisher-NO Equal” belief with customers

  • Manage the project business and engage in early end user influence of valve specification to gain preference

  • Develop industry specific Fisher valve solution to solve customer control valve problem

  • Create Industry solution knowledge base, develop QBR and valve reference list

  • Drive Site Account Plan and collaborate with the regional group to grow Fisher Installed Base Business

  • Identify target valve application and customer sites with sales channel and Region BDM

  • Participate in the formulation of account penetration strategy

  • Support sales channel through Industry expertise gained from market knowledge and industry experience

  • Work with project pursuit and regional groups to design quote/pricing strategies that maximize orders and customer satisfaction

  • Coordinate and participate in the marketing needs of Industry trade show, seminar, forum and presentation of technical paper

  • Strategize with WA Industry sales group to maximize AP Installed base and capture the market needs and trends

  • Assist in training of New Application Engineers

  • Support the business unit by providing feedback in the following areas:

  • Develop strategies of competition, product competitiveness and product gaps

  • Suggest product improvement opportunities and support new product development

Who You Are:

You establish common objectives and a shared attitude. You carefully consider all relevant factors and use appropriate decision-making criteria and principles. You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization. You identify and build the processes necessary to get work done.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in Sales or Business Development from a control valve industry

  • Knowledge in the process industry standards and control valves.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation or any related field) or equivalent experience
