How you will make an impact:

  • Accountable to implement and improve equipment maintenance procedures used the plant facilities to ensure equipment world class reliability.

  • Understanding the equipment in depth and act as the subject matter expert. Perform troubleshooting when breakdown and quality issues happen.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement of equipment, tools, fixtures, etc. to improve the equipment reliability and yield.

  • Write and execute protocols to qualify and validate manufacturing equipment and processes; analyze results, make recommendations, and develop reports.

  • Support line issues, machine breakdowns, emergencies; analyse and resolve issues to identify root causes, perform recovery of breakdowns and ensure proper documentation or repairs.

  • Establish and carry out plans i.e. scheduled maintenance to ensure deliverables are completed to expectations.

  • Oversee support tasks; give instruction to technicians; train technicians and provide feedback; and plan and coordinate technician work.

  • Supervise vendors, upkeep and manage equipment spares.

  • Other incidental duties assigned by Leadership.

What you'll need (Required):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific field Required

What else we look for:

  • Experience working with production equipment i.e. sterilizing equipment, autoclaves, chemical systems.

  • Experience in qualifying and validating manufacturing process.

  • Basic documentation, communication (e.g., written and verbal) and interpersonal relationship skills.

  • Basic understanding of statistical techniques.

  • Good understanding and knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to Engineering.

  • Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Good understanding of processes and equipment used in assigned work.

  • Strict attention to detail.

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.

  • Must be able to work in a team environment, including immediate supervisor and other team members in the section or group; and interact across all levels including technician and vendors.

  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.
