Our Global Security Organization is comprised of multiple teams that work together to support our operations around the globe. Our mission is to keep the things that we value safe & secure while protecting the people, assets and reputation of Facebook. We protect the people of Facebook by creating a safe & secure environment for our culture to flourish. We ensure Facebook’s physical and intellectual assets are safe & secure. From buildings and servers, to prototypes and ideas. We help make smart, informed decisions to protect Facebook’s reputation.

The ideal candidate will be a proven supply chain security professional with interest and aspiration for corporate security that excels in a dynamic, fast paced work environment. The candidate will lead a regional supply chain security program, assisting with the supply chain security policy, audit and company compliance, as well as ensuring proper support is provided to internal partners working on confidential programs and projects. This is a very collaborative and cross-functional role that partners closely with many Facebook internal teams, Global Security teammates and third-party vendors for success.

This role will be located in our Hong Kong office.

Required Skills:

  1. Position will have ground responsibilities covering the APAC region with emphasis in China.

  2. Manages a regional supply chain security program while aligning with Global Security strategic goals.

  3. Maximizes partnerships with internal and vendor partners from Facebook business teams, Logistics teams, Trade Ops, Legal, Risk Management, Customer Service, Freight Forwarders and 3rd party logistics providers and security service providers.

  4. Maintains a recognized Best-In-Class supply chain security program.

  5. Leads the Facebook portfolio on regional trade security programs such as Singapore’s Secure Trade Partnership (STP) and will need to participate with others in global and regional trade security initiatives such as C-TPAT and AEO.

  6. Conducts virtual/on-site audits of contract manufacturing sites, distribution centers, transit lanes and additional third-party supplier locations where Facebook product is regularly manufactured, moved and stored.

  7. Assesses the supply chain landscape and recommends modifications to security plans and supply chain operations at both the regional and global level.

  8. Defines processes/procedures as well as implement those procedures in the APAC region.

  9. The position will work with vendor service providers to leverage supply chain security resources and to monitor compliance with contractual security requirements at the regional level.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years working within a corporate security function

  2. Qualified candidates must have experience managing complex, multi country supply chain security programs, involving multiple internal stakeholders. 

  3. Candidate must have experience successfully managing third party vendors.

  4. Candidate must have knowledge with field experience in supply chain security, understanding of TAPA requirements and Trade Security programs such as Singapores Secure Trade Partnership, C-TPAT or AEO.

  5. Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  6. Strong collaborator with proven ability to build successful cross functional relationships across all levels of the organization.

  7. Outstanding customer service, communication, and presentation skills.

  8. Possesses planning and organizational skills.

  9. Able to infuse innovation and creativity.

  10. Demonstrates the ability to manage complex and tough business conversations to make progress.

  11. Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills that drive results.

  12. Highly motivated and able to be successful in a dynamic industry.

  13. Proven skills in MS Office Suite.

  14. Ability to travel internationally to accomplish assignments and responsibilities as needed (around 30%).

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree (MBA, MS or MA)

  2. Physical security program management

  3. IP Protection experience

  4. TAPA, ASIS or other professional security organization memberships
