UL, LLC Sr. Software Developer - OpenText Extended ECM UI in Poland
Hybrid opportunity for candidates based in Warsaw, Poland
The Sr. ECM Application Engineer works with the business functional and service areas, Business Analysis and Testing, application integration and management teams to ensure that content is available, secure, updated, and retained per the corporate data retention policies, while also providing technical assistance to these teams to onboard new libraries and to resolve performance and functionality challenges.
Serves as a Subject Matter Expert and technical consultant on matters related to the underlying content management architecture, UI functionality, and configuration including prerequisites and capability considerations with Content Server extensions and modules when designing solutions with OT Content Server System Admin offerings for business requirements.
Supports the analysis, development, modification, testing, and maintenance of application functionality that supports the UI and backend functions to create, edit, upload, download, search, move, data populate, delete, archive, and publish documents and data for our internal and external consumers.
Configure and run reports (Live Reports & Web Reports) in support of solutions and reporting.
Apply and build legal requirements and retention policies to RSIs.
Develop, test, and deploy workflows, automation, business workspaces, collaboration tools, and reporting.
Maintain, design, and make changes to a stable and flexible content management architecture that meets the organization's application and business access needs.
Coordinate with Business SMEs, Content Services Test Lead, and Project Managers, and IT Operations staff on enhancement lists, prioritization, deployment schedules in support of functionality changes, category templates, and new and updated repositories.
Provide clear and comprehensive design narrative and diagrams, deployment runbooks and supplemental instructions, and release descriptions, for implementation of solutions.
Lead migration efforts to ensure that content is properly identified, documented, and migrated to the appropriate content management platform.
Ensures, through careful design, that document quality and security controls are implemented to ensure the consistency and security of company information.
Participate in the process of evaluating and selecting architectures, technical directions, and strategies for items related to content management.
Provides support to assist global teams in resolving issues related to the performance of the content management environment.
Interfaces with global operation resources to implement changes and maintain the availability of the content management environment.
Manage OpenText Directory Services Security and Administration.
Work with the business to document new repository requirements.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience required.
Five or more years of Information Technology experience, including at least three years of administration/development of MS SQL, HTML, JavaScript and Web Services, and OpenText.
Experience with OpenText Content Server functionality and other Extended ECM suite products such as but not limited to Record Series Indicators (RSIs) for Records Management Module, Workflow Design and Maps, OScript, LiveReports, WebReports, Active Smartviews, Workflows, OTDS and OTCS, Mobile, eLink, Object Importer, Customizations using Oscript (9.2/9.7/10), Physical Objects, Enterprise Connect xECM for Salesforce, LiveReports, and WebReports.
Implementing Mobile Solutions using App Work Gateway
Experience in the installation of Complex Production systems including Content server.
Experience in upgrading Content Sever from lower versions to Higher version
Experience in progressive levels of responsibility related to content management systems and maintenance.
Demonstrated competence in Azure environment.
Experience in designing and building data management solutions.
Experience with analyzing performance issues with the content management platform, including query troubleshooting and tuning experience.
Experience in Agile practices and managing work in Azure Dev Ops, including Test Suite Management.
