Our Professional Services team works directly with customers to provide a unique combination of deep technology expertise and understanding of their business environment. We provide technical hands-on services and best-practices in the areas of web performance, DevOps and media delivery.

Partner with our customers

You'll be involved with projects from design through implementation, testing and sign-off. As the technical expert, you are expected to deliver the best solutions to our customers. You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team. You will work in a fast-moving environment, with our cutting-edge technologies and innovations which guarantee.

As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Owning all technical delivery aspects of Akamai solutions, including configuration, debugging, testing, and go live support.

• Identifying service enhancements and potential problems to ensure continuous improvements to the quality of our customer's digital properties.

• Cooperating with other functional teams to resolve issues that arise during the various phases of the implementation of a solution.

• Being a trusted technical consultant for our customers, helping them navigate our product portfolio

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have an understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(s) and TLS

• Have a problem solving mentality

• Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role

• Be fluent in using Restful APIs, JSON, versioning and repositories (e.g. Git, bitbucket) and scripting languages

• Demonstrate experience in working in a DevOps environment with complete application development life cycle (e.g. developing, testing, monitoring and planning)

• Be familiar with one or more software development principles and multiple environments architecture
