The Enterprise Security Group (ESG) Marketing team is a dynamic, data-driven team. Responsible for designing and executing marketing programs to deliver new and existing customer revenue. Our team provides an opportunity to utilize cutting-edge marketing tools and data insights to build and acceerate pipeline. Our focus is on building solid strategies and developing plans. We work towards having the maximum impact possible on demand, pipeline and revenue growth.

Develop our Strategy

The ESG Marketing Team, aligns with Akamai's new-customer selling team as well as strategic growth verticals. A demand and growth mindset is required for this role. Furthermore, an understanding of the enterprise B2B marketing & sales cycle is advantageous.

In this role, you will lead and all ESG marketing activities, in your region

As a Field Marketing Manager you will be responsible for:

• Working across global marketing, creating, expanding, and accelerating sales opportunities through channel and direct B2B marketing.

• Working with internal marketing teams across regions to ensure local business needs are delivered.

• Collaborating with sales and channel leaders to deliver programs and drive demand.

• Managing key stakeholders, to improve processes, operations and manage key projects.

• Analyzing the marketing funnel, channel mix and customer segmentation to optimize pipeline generation across different customer segments.

• Building infrastructure to shape demand and an integrated sales funnel for lead generation across named region/countries.

• Have marketing experience with a security or high tech company.

• Have proven success in managing and leading multi-faceted marketing programs.

• Have a background in managing lead and pipeline generation programs.

• Have excellent knowledge of digital lead generation tactics, social media and content marketing.

• Enjoy being a strategic and analytical thinker and possess substantial business acumen and global awareness.

• Be a good team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment.
