Liberty Latin America Senior Manager, IT Enterprise Architect in Panama

What’s the role

The Senior IT Enterprise Architect will design and maintain IT architectural blueprints aligned with business goals, incorporating expertise in telecommunications, cloud technologies, and CRM systems. This role is critical to conduct Impact Assessment on IT Platforms and to provide End to End Solution Designs for Enterprise Programs/Projects for Liberty Latin America

What you’ll do

  • Architecture Design: Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, strategies, roadmaps, and technical documentation for IT systems and solutions in alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.

  • Telecommunications Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise in telecommunications software, including understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, and industry standards. Ensure that architectural solutions meet the unique requirements of the telecommunications industry.

  • Cloud Technologies: Design cloud-based solutions leveraging platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Develop strategies for cloud adoption, migration, and optimization while ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

  • CRM and Billing Systems: Architect CRM solutions that enhance customer engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design scalable and integrated CRM and billing systems.

  • Provisioning Systems: Design provisioning systems that automate the process of activating and managing telecommunications services for customers. Ensure seamless integration with other systems and adherence to industry standards.

  • ERP Systems Integration: Architect integration solutions between telecommunications systems and ERP platforms to streamline business processes such as inventory management, financials, and reporting.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and external partners, to gather requirements, define architecture, and drive successful implementation of IT solutions.

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and development teams. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the telecommunications and IT industries.

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT architecture decisions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, security standards, and data privacy laws.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize IT architecture, processes, and systems, enhancing efficiency, reliability, and performance.

Required Education / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Proven experience as an IT Enterprise Architect with a focus on telecommunications software.

  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing principles and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Expertise in CRM, billing, provisioning, and ERP systems within the telecommunications industry.

  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and data management principles.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

  • Leadership experience with the ability to lead and mentor teams in a dynamic environment.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
