What you will do:

You will take part of the success of our cloud and security projects, from the opportunity identification to the design and delivery of the solutions.

The activities include:

• Providing advice and guidance to our customers and partners on best practices for their migration to Oracle Public Cloud.

• Becoming a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex Cloud Infrastructure and networking challenge.

• Working closely with customers, either from a technical or non-technical standpoint, to deliver solutions that fulfil or exceed their requirements

• Solutioning in the IaaS and security domains on topics like high availability, disaster recovery, networking, identity and access management (at various levels IaaS, OS, database, application), key management, security monitoring and analytics.

• Assessing, understanding and articulating customer business requirements and propose innovative solutions.

• Migrating on-prem environments to cloud: DC-exits, V2V migrations, storage replication, networking connections over dedicated lines, VPN, or public internet

• Performing security assessments, making sure that projects delivered by Oracle Consulting comply with the Oracle’s security standards, as well as performing health-checks focusing on availability and security.

• Proactively maintain knowledge of Oracle’s current and future IaaS and security offerings

Responsibilities

What you’ll bring:

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

Cloud architecture:

• High availability and disaster recovery

• Networking: IPV4 and IPV6, load-balancers, routing, firewalls, VPN, dedicated lines

• Storage concepts: block storage, object storage, file shares

Identity and Access management:

• Identity federation and single sign-on, including protocols like LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, and OAuth

• Security monitoring

• Policy development

Cloud security at various levels:

• Networking at OSI level 4 and 7

• Operating system security for Windows and Linux

• Attack and penetration testing

• Infrastructure as code, using CI/CD principles and tools

• Scripting in Terraform, Ansible and bash

• Virtualization and containerization:

• VMware

• KVM

• Docker

• Kubernetes

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and/or Amazon AWS

• Developing security policies, technology requirements, and security assurance best-practices

• Experience in performing security assessments.

Cloud certifications on OCI, or other hyperscaler cloud providers would be an advantage, as well as security certifications, e.g. CISSP or ISO 27001.
