SCOPE OF THE ROLE

Chemours is seeking a Regional Product Specialist for our EMEA business as part of our growing Thermal and Specialized Solutions (TSS) team. Reporting to the Regional Product Manager, The TSS EMEA Regional Product Specialist role is responsible for supporting all aspects of the Product Management function for the TSS EMEA business covering the full product portfolio including Freon™ and Opteon™ product lines for EMEA.

The Product Specialist will be part of key strategic initiatives for the region such as F-gas quota management, Brand Protection & Anti-counterfeiting, Circularity and will also be the key point of contact for data mining and development.

Preferred location for this role is Netherlands, however this role can be based in Antwerpen, Belgium or Asturias, Spain also.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

This position includes, but is not limited to, the following activities and responsibilities:

  • Map F-Gas regulation across the region and determine quota requirements.

  • Actively scouts for opportunities related to Quota trading.

  • Prepare business models and set up standard practices for Quota transactions.

  • Anti-Counterfeiting metrics and trend analysis with tight cooperation with the Advocacy & Regulatory team to coordinate internal and external actions.

  • Brand Protection case development & tracking with regular reporting to Product Management and Advocacy.

  • Act as a point of contact in the EMEA commercial team for CI

  • Create & Maintain CI Database using internal and external data sources.

  • Develop and maintain market models for each of the priority market segments.

  • Liaise with global marketing and regional leadership to support refrigerant circularity strategy in EMEA.

  • Support product life cycle management through data driven analysis.

  • Develop robust data dashboards to facilitate pricing and portfolio decisions.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/Business/Engineering, with 3-5 years of relevant work experience or 7 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a Bachelors.

  • Prior experience within the chemical industry will be an asset.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make confident, fact-based, decisions.

  • Effective cross-functional team player with an entrepreneurial mindset and results driven.

  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills with ability to present information and ideas in an organized way to various audiences.

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to manage time effectively when working remotely.

  • Tenacious and resilient, with ability to solve problems and overcome hurdles.

  • Strong computer skills including MS office, Power BI, and SFDC

Pay Range (in local currency):

€50,400.00 - €117,500.00

Chemours Level:

25

Annual Bonus Target:

1%
