The Opportunity

Grass Valley is seeking for Interns for our Software Development team to work on the revolutionary SAAS-based GV AMPP ®  , a SaaS platform designed to enable efficient and flexible media production workflows for live content creation, management, and distribution. The technology is designed to provide broadcasters, content creators, and media companies with a powerful, scalable, and secure platform to create and deliver more content to more channels.

What you will learn

• Product/Features implementation, code review, govern coding practices;

• Execute engineering test before handing over to QA;

• Applying and optimizing software development practices, development, testing and integration in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Provide information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing development and performance issues.

• Involve in development using .Net Framework / C#

• Exposure to:

• TypeScript, Angular, Kubernetes, Docker, MongoDB, REST API, GIT, ADO

• CI/CD practices

• Exposure to Microservices based systems

• Fluent with Object Oriented Design, Data Structures and Design Patterns

  What you Have to Offer

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors’ degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• A passion for writing quality software

• Analytical and strong problem solving skills

• Passionate for continuous learning and able to adapt to fast-changing technologies and environments
