Identify performance and scalability bottlenecks in the various Software/Hardware stacks of Oracle Secure Cloud deployment. Collaborate with various Oracle development teams to resolve the performance and scalability problems. Design and develop scalable processes to do performance issue triaging and debugging in a highly dynamic fast paced environment. Provide 24X7 Support to mission critical cloud environments. Evangelize best practices for performance tuning across the operations team and assist in the rollout and uptake of these best practices.Work with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team on the shared full stack ownership of a collection of services and/or technology areas. Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of production services. Responsible for the design and delivery of the mission critical stack, with focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance. Partner with development teams in defining and implementing improvements in service architecture. Articulate technical characteristics of services and technology areas and guide Development Teams to engineer and add premier capabilities to the Oracle Cloud service portfolio. Understand and communicate the scale, capacity, security, performance attributes, and requirements of the service and technology stack. Demonstrate clear understanding of automation and orchestration principles. Act as ultimate escalation point for complex or critical issues that have not yet been documented as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Utilize a deep understanding of service topology and their dependencies required to troubleshoot issues and define mitigations. Professional curiosity and a desire to a develop deep understanding of services and technologies.A BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent. Identifies and implements complex solutions to knowledge of server hardware and software configuration, networking, standard internet services, scripting languages, cloud computing patterns, technology security and compliance. Understanding of load balancing technologies and experience with development in programming languages and container technologies. Work involves defining and documenting technical architecture of complex and highly scalable products. A minimum of 6+ years’ experience of running large scale customer facing web services. application and infrastructure. Provide internal analysis, enhance, and maintain existing environment(s) capacity and capabilities.

Job Description:

• 3-5 years of experience in Oracle WebLogic Administrator along with automation skills (Python/Shell Scripting) with BS Computer Science or equivalent qualification. Master’s degree in computer science or management is preferred.

• BE/BTech and/or MS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred

• Expertise with key concepts and principles of performance tuning

• Configure and use performance monitoring and profiling tools.

• Optimize JVM performance to improve WebLogic Server 12c performance.

• Tune connection management to improve application scalability.

• Tune JDBC to improve database access performance.

• Tune thread and queue management to maximize server throughput.

• Applying performance tuning techniques to enhance application performance.

• Someone who understand WebLogic Server and how various things in WebLogic works.

• Can troubleshoot any issues like Start-up/Shutdown or patching quickly.

• Understanding High Availability & Disaster Recovery bring services back quickly in case they go down because of any issues.

• Understanding integration with Databases, Performance Tune WebLogic Server

• Someone who understand how Garbage Collection works.

• Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 11g/12c/13c is a plus.

The candidate should have expert level knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Application, Automation, and Running the System Production at Operational Level. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills:

Lead Oracle Fusion Middleware based projects range from hands-on technical to advisory consulting support for Oracle specific technologies, including Oracle Database, Oracle WebLogic Server (WLS), Oracle HTTP Server (OHS), ESS Schedular, Oracle SOA/BPM Suite, OBIEE, BI Publisher, Oracle WebCenter Portal, Sites and Content, Oracle Identity & Access Management (OAM/OID) and ODI

• Perform as-is and to-be architecture analysis and develop physical and logical architecture models for the application, web, and mid-tier environments.

• Ability to develop High-availability design, configuration, and maintenance, including clustering and load balancing for fusion middleware components.

• Understand and keep updated in current technology trends.

• Understand and having the ability to communicate relevant technologies.

• Ensure enterprise applications are always running effectively, which includes continuous monitoring and ensuring every reasonable effort is made to restore service as quickly as possible in the event of an outage.

• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple environments (DEV, TEST, QA, PRD, DR etc.,) effectively and account for differences in each environment.

• You may be required to deliver services both remotely and onsite depending on business requirements.

• Manage and Support applications running on WebLogic Server

• Monitor and analyze performance indicators such as server and common infrastructure logs, JVM information, thread pool statistics and jar files.

• Monitor and tune the performance of core components such as thread pools, Java Virtual Machines, JDBC and partitioning services.

• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks and improve application scalability and availability.

• JVM tuning and debugging.

• Java Threads and thread pooling, Heap Dump & JFR Analysis

• Troubleshooting OS and network environments

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Knowledge on any parallel job execution framework tools like Marionette Collective (MCollective) or SALT is an added advantage.

• Good Knowledge on Incidents/Request and change management process.

• Exposure to OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager)

• Experience on Java programing and understanding of structured SQL statements will help.

• Prior experience as a Service Reliability Engineer or DevOps Engineer.

• Experience with automated service deployment tools
