Amazon Risk Manager, Central Product Team in Virtual Location - Washington, Washington

Description

Amazon's Perfect Order Experience team works to ensure that buyers receive authentic products. We design and implement policies, tools, and technology innovations to protect the buying experience on Amazon while minimizing friction for sellers. Candidates will be responsible for a wide range of duties related to the proactive identification and elimination of online risk. This candidate will also own a high visibility reduction goal, and be able to speak to the goal in WBRS, MBRS, and similar meetings.

The ideal self-driven candidate possesses strong business judgment and analytical thinking and has experience succeeding in a customer-driven workplace under tight deadlines. The position relies on excellent judgment to plan and accomplish goals and will work under limited supervision of the Manager. Nearly all decisions are expected to be made independently with little to no guidance and a high degree of accuracy.

The Candidate will be expected to drive and expand an established program, learning from past findings to improve and focus the scope of this program for future business needs. Candidate will be data oriented and will be able to advocate for program resources while balancing operational needs of the business. The candidate will need to be proficient in delivering their analysis in a comprehensive and concise manner in a variety of settings. Candidates will be adept at determining root causes of issues and driving implementation of long term fixes.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience handling confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience

  • Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials

  • Experience with SQL and Excel

  • 3+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
