V2X Police Administration Specialist in Kuwait

Overview

This position will be physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP

This position will perform all administrative functions for the PMO that deal with the handling of criminal reports, non-criminal reports, coordination of barment packages, traffic tickets, etc. Police administration shall coordinate with the US Army Crimes Record Center (CRC) for the submission of appropriate Military Police Reports (MPRs) IAW AR 190-45 and CRC policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

  • Records administration, release of information, and offense reporting IAW AR 190-45, Law Enforcement Reporting and releasable only with Provost Marshal’s approval.

  • Administer a files plan that shall include, but not be limited to, the Military Police Reports, Journals with all attachments, and Daily Blotters signed by the Provost Marshal or his representative from each MP Desk or operation in Kuwait.

  • This position is responsible for the processing of DD Form 1408, Traffic Ticket, IAW AR 190-5, Motor Vehicle Traffic Supervision, and the ASG-KU Traffic Control Plan.

  • Maintain a dialogue as appropriate with installation law enforcement personnel to enhance our relationship and increase security of assets we have under our control.

  • This shall include administration of the ASG-KU traffic point system, processing and record keeping of tickets, and the administration of the driving privilege revocation program. Traffic violations and recommendations for driver license suspensions are required to be submitted to the appropriate commander within 7 days from exceeding the point limits

  • Police administration personnel shall be proficient in the operation of the Army Law Enforcement Reporting and Tracking System (ALERTS) and other data programs to track MPR, traffic infractions, and compile statistics for the PMO. This shall include compiling monthly crime states on a Provost Marshal approved format NLT the 7th of each month.

  • Police administration shall maintain and keep current a functional Barment roster for distribution to appropriate agencies as determined by the DES. Barment letters are required to be submitted to the CJA within 72 hours from the time of temporary Barment from the PMO.

  • Perform all other duties and assignments as required or as directed.

Qualifications

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma required, AA or BA/BS Degree preferred.

  • Be a US Citizen

  • Be at least 21 years of age.

  • Have a valid US Tourist Passport

  • Have a current and valid US Driver’s License

  • Will meet United States Government (USG) security requirements

  • Must possess Active Secret Security Clearance

  • MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:

  • Microsoft Office Programs – Mainly PowerPoint, Excel and Access.

  • EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have computer experience and have thorough knowledge of Microsoft office.

  • SKILLS:

  • Excellent computer skills required as well as interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Prior DBIDS experience a plus.

  • Must have a Final Active Secret Clearance. Deployed Southwest Asia (SWA) experience preferred.

  • WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Work is generally conducted in an in area with a mild exposure to extreme climatic conditions. Working in a military environment brings the potential for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents. Employee use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas, but not on a daily basis. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, vision and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, and Fire Regulations and published company work rules.

  • PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

  • Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, extended sitting or standing, or other physical efforts that are normally required. In addition, visual acuity, hearing and speaking requirements would be considered.
