Job Description:

Supervises implementation of HSE programs, policies and subordinate personnel within assigned AOR.

Provides HSE services to project/functional management. Performs necessary analysis, audits and

investigations of all work sites to minimize the potential for injury or other loss. Uses independent

judgment in application of HSE procedures. Plans and executes the functions of a project HSE

department, as assigned. Maintains records, reports, and documents to meet company and regulatory

requirements. Assures timely investigations, inspections, and reporting of HSE matters. Activities

include but are not limited to risk identification and management, incident reporting and investigation,

waste minimization, pollution prevention and control, various compliance activities and implementation of

various aspects of management systems in all areas of HSE.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with

the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.

TYPICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace to

project worksites with harsh, working and living conditions.

To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will

possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as

necessary to perform assigned job functions.

Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.
