What will I be doing?

• Personal Training and Classes: Conduct one-on-one training sessions and group fitness classes. Design personalized workout programs that cater to individual client needs and fitness goals.

• Fitness Assessments: Perform initial fitness assessments for new clients and periodic re-evaluations for existing clients to track progress and adjust training plans accordingly.

• Equipment Orientation: Introduce new members to the proper use of health club equipment and ensure they understand safety practices within the fitness center.

• Health and Wellness Education: Provide advice and guidance on nutrition, wellness, and lifestyle choices to enhance clients' overall health. Stay informed on the latest fitness trends and research to ensure advice is current and effective.

• Customer Service: Maintain a friendly, inviting atmosphere. Address client concerns and feedback with professionalism and care. Foster a supportive community environment within the fitness center.

• Maintenance and Cleanliness: Ensure the fitness area and equipment are clean and well maintained, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate department.

What are we looking for?

• Educational Background: A degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field is preferred.

• Certifications: Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) from an accredited organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM). Additional certifications in CPR, First Aid, and specialized fitness areas (e.g., yoga, pilates, spin) are advantageous.

• Experience: Proven experience as a fitness trainer or coach, with a track record of developing effective training programs and leading fitness classes.

• Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to motivate and inspire clients of all fitness levels and backgrounds.

• Knowledge of various fitness programs, from basic exercises to advanced regimes, including the use of fitness equipment and techniques.

• Personal Attributes: Enthusiastic, personable, and a motivational personality with a deep commitment to health and fitness. Professional demeanor and appearance.

• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to accommodate the schedules of our clients.
