The Activation and Event Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of brand activations and events. This role requires a highly organized individual with attention to detail who can manage multiple work areas simultaneously within the marketing team. The goal is to ensure all events effectively promote the brand, engage the identified target audience, and meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in event management, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Position Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Execution:
Develop and execute comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics with define KPIs/Success indicators - supported by Head of Business/Chief Marketing Officer
Coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, transportation, entertainment, and staffing in line with event objectives.
Work closely with each workstream lead withing marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies and materials for events effectively and on time.
Lead team meeting to provide regular updates on event progress to keep working team on the right track and to remove roadblocks leading up to event date.
Brand and Product Activations:
Design and implement brand activation strategies to increase brand awareness, consideration and engagement OR as direction defined by HOB.
Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop activation concepts that align with the brand’s identity and objectives.
Assist head of brand to develop compelling marketing campaign to launch and promote the product and propositions.
Oversee the production and installation of activation/branding materials and setups.
Vendor Management:
Serve as the main point of contact for vendors or other event partners, ensuring clear and consistent communication and successful execution of all events and activations.
Responsible for vendor selections according to expertise, background, experience and budget
Responsible for vendor registration, payment and other processes according to company policies
Budget & Report Management:
Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and reported accurately.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to achieve the best possible terms and rates (with support from procurement)
Monitor event expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of events and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare detailed reports summarizing event outcomes, including attendance, engagement, and ROI.
Ensure all events and activations are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Required qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in event & activation, marketing & communications, public relation and/or in related field.
Experience in developing event and activation plan for various event and occasions including internal and external.
Good at strategic planning, coordination, and execution of brand activations and events to effectively convey the organization's brand, product and service.
Excellent at project management skill, with the ability to work with various stakeholders to ensure all events effectively promote the brand, engage the identified target audience, and meet business objectives
Extensive experience in event management, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for details.
Highly organized individual with attention to detail who can manage multiple work areas simultaneously within the marketing team.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, external partners, and community stakeholders.
