Your Day to Day

With spectacular growth in our region - which includes a newly revamped rewards program and new brands in market - and an even bigger ambition, there couldn’t be a better time to join the IHG family.

Due to growth in region and Japan being a key growth market for IHG, we have a newly created role of Senior Manager, Digital Marketing Japan & Micronesia. The role will report into our Director of Marketing Shared Services – Japan and Micronesia. You will also be supported by a digital marketing specialist. The will be based out of our Tokyo Support office.

This is a key role within our Japan marketing team and the core responsibility of the role is to lead the development and delivery of digital marketing activities that drive direct revenue performance, enhance awareness, and engage with our target audience.

We’re looking for a highly motivated, diverse thinker who’s ready for an exciting challenge, and we have a world of opportunity to offer in return.

• 日本におけるデジタルマーケティングの実績

• ウェブ分析ツール（GoogleやAdobe Analyticsなど）、SEO/SEM戦略、コンテンツ管理システムに精通していること。

• ソーシャルメディア管理、Eメールマーケティングプラットフォーム、オンライン広告の経験

• データを解釈し、データに基づいた意思決定を行うことができる優れた分析能力

• リーダーシップを発揮し、チームを管理し、部門を越えて協力した経験

• ホスピタリティまたは大規模なグローバルビジネスに対する深い理解

• 卓越したコミュニケーション能力

• クリエイティブな思考を持ち、業界のトレンドやイノベーションを常にアップデートすることに情熱を注げる方

• 日本語および英語での優れた文書および口頭でのコミュニケーションスキル

What we need from you

To be successful in this role the following skills and attributes are highly desirable.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience​

• 5+ years progressive experience with demonstrated commercial success in Marketing and Digital in Japan and multinational organisations​

• Experience in building and leading highly-effective globally-dispersed teams and inspiring teams to achieve challenging agendas​

• Proven experience in digital marketing in Japan​

• Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools and best practices.​

• Proficiency in web analytic tools (Eg Google and Adobe Analytics), SEO/SEM strategies and content management systems​

• Experience with social media management, email marketing platforms and online advertising​

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data driven decisions​

• Leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams and collaborating across departments​

• Deep understanding of hospitality or large global businesses

• Exceptional communication skills​

• Creative thinker and a passion for staying updated with industry trends and innovations.​

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in Japanese and English​
