At Transit Services Group , we support customers in optimizing the life cycle cost of their assets by providing services in their equipment. The Transit Services Group consolidates all business related to spare parts, repairs & overhauls and maintenance as part of a comprehensive portfolio of service activities on existing rolling stock and rail infrastructure.

We are recruiting a Project Senior Director (m./f.).

Location: Europe, with easy access/vicinity to any of our sites in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom

Who will you be working with?

• You will report hierarchically to VP Services Product Lines and functionally to Projects Management Group VP

• You will be a member of the Services Product Lines management team.

• You will work closely with Country/Regional Directors and project managers for Transit Division.

How will you make a difference?

Project Senior Director oversees the projects portfolio execution and governance for all Transit Services.

He / She is responsible to ensure that major projects are commercially successful and delivered on quality, time and on budget according to the corporate policies.

He / She is responsible to deploy all project tools, best practices, role and responsibilities.

What do we want to know about you?

Experience: Minimum of 15 years in a Project Management and Management roles including sales

Sector: Rail / construction / energy infrastructure

Skills:

• Team building and management, remote and dispersed management in a matrix environment.

• International business experience in multi-cultured organizations and customers.

• Strong communication abilities, including management by influence

• Project and Customer orientation. Strong ethics.

• Claim, risk and opportunity management

Languages: English is mandatory, French and/or German is a plus.

What will your typical day look like?

• Major Customer satisfaction & Hot Issues follow up

• Smooth transition between tender and project phases

• Project portfolio review and audit management

• Deployment & follow up of standard Project methodologies & Corporate Governance

• Activity reporting to Transit Services Management committee

• Cross functional management, mentoring and talent development

You will have a major influence on: tendering, customer focus, project & gate reviews, technical support, efficiency increase.
