About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Analog Designer to join our Audio Amplifier Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing state-of-the-art audio amplifiers. This role requires a deep understanding of analog circuit design, expertise in audio amplifier design, and the ability to drive projects from concept to production.

  • To directly influence the features, differentiation & cost entitlement of the product at release to market. To present analysis and conclusions to internal customers and business leaders in a comprehensive and effective manner.

  • To learn and develop business insights, drive open discussions with business & technology leaders and drive decisions impacting product & technology execution

  • To build strong, influential relationships with domain experts

  • To develop good communication, interpersonal skills while interacting with worldwide cross functional experts

  • To learn identifying risks across domains and adapt to support changing priorities

  • To manage and mentor design engineers/interns and grow their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Development:
  • Lead the design and development of high-performance analog circuits for audio amplification.

  • Ensure designs meet specified performance, quality, and reliability standards.

  • Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.

2. Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in analog design and audio technology.

  • Encourage innovation and the adoption of new technologies within the team.

  • Continuously improve design processes and methodologies.

3. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other engineering teams to integrate analog designs into larger systems.

  • Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Interface with customers and partners as needed to understand requirements and provide technical support.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

  • 5 years of experience in Analog circuit design, with a focus on audio amplifiers (Signal Chain)

  • Strong knowledge of Analog design principles, including low-noise, low-distortion, and high-efficiency circuits.

  • Proficiency with EDA tools for schematic capture, simulation, and PCB layout.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in leading full chip activity like circuit block spec definition, top-level simulations, design verification and design for test.

  • Good grasp of basic digital design fundamentals, Understanding of DV flows & tools.

  • Good mentoring, communication, presentation skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

5 years of experience in Analog circuit design, with a focus on audio amplifiers (Signal Chain)

  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results

  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
