About the Role:

Deployment Platform team owns a collection of services and tools to manage the release and deployment of software on Confluent in a reliable and efficient manner.

In this role, you will be working on building a highly available, reliable, secure, scalable and user friendly platform to build a global deployment platform. You will be responsible for driving the technical solutions for complex open-ended problems collaborating with various stakeholders to design, develop and operate the platform.

What You Will Bring:

• 7+ years of relevant cloud infrastructure/cloud networking experience

• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development

• Experience building and operating large-scale systems in the Cloud

• Solid understanding of basic systems operations (disk, network, operating systems, etc)

• A self starter with the ability to work effectively in teams

• Proficiency in Java, Scala, C/C++, Go or other statically typed languages
