This is an exciting opportunity to join our global organization as a Senior DevOps Engineer, supporting application development teams spread all over the world with infrastructure, build tools, prototypes, and technical projects – all on AWS. In this role you will...

• Work in a small, cross-functional group, supporting application development teams with a wide variety of technical projects.

• Offer strong technical inputs to support Cornerstone’s ongoing migration to AWS, continuous deployment, and a microservices architecture.

• Develop AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation, and tooling to automate infrastructure validation, deployment, and maintenance.

• Create build tooling to support fully automated testing and deployment of application components across a large number of environments.

• Own your work all the way to production, including deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and compliance.

• Prototype solutions to technical problems as they arise, and work with application teams to apply lessons learned.

• Collaborate with globally distributed teams to complete large, cross-functional projects, and support company-wide technology migrations.

• Work independently with minimal supervision, and provide leadership and mentorship to other software engineers .

• Work closely with Architects to optimize usage of AWS resources and costs .

You have got what it takes if you have…

• 4+ years of engineering experience, ideally with a focus on infrastructure or build tooling

• Excellent Software Engineering skills in: Python, C#, or equivalent. This is must have requirement for this role.

• Hands-on experience with AWS

• Good understanding of security fundamentals in a cloud environment

• Proven experience architecting infrastructure in AWS using native tools such as CloudFormation and ECS

• Experience with continuous deployment and CI tools, such as Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.

• Ability to clearly communicate technical issues and project details

• Experience delivering software in a Lean or Agile environment

An extra dose of awesomeness if you have…

• Experience with Python and Bash

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools

• Experience with continuous deployment and CI tools, such as Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.

• Experience with development of micro-services with .Net technology using C#
