About the Job

We're seeking a well-rounded Full Stack Engineer to design the platform that will enable IGIU’s product portfolio to quickly uptake GenAI capabilities to make our products smarter, more efficient and a joy to use. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including application product managers, software engineers, data scientists, data engineers, and user experience designers. Our new platform will be built directly on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) based on cloud native principles. We build to scale globally, leveraging state-of-the-art tooling, with zero downtime.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Make Happen

  • Build the integration framework to connect our new GenAI platform with the IGIU product suite.

  • Develop the prompt engineering framework to access data needed from the IGIU product suite.

  • Leverage Oracle’s APEX to build front-end experiences for Oracle employees building on the GenAI Platform

  • You’ll contribute to ideas for how to architect our platform for scale.

About You

  • 5+ years of software development and design experience. Deep experience developing with Java. Experience with multiple languages is preferred.

  • You are comfortable working at all levels of the technical stack.

  • You are comfortable with ambiguity. You have a strong sense of ownership, can define your own workplan and can drive projects to completion.

  • You are excited to learn new technologies and stay on the cutting edge of what’s possible

  • You’ve taken a product or platform from 0 to 1, you know what it takes to launch something novel

  • 5+ years of experience building enterprise Cloud Services

  • Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud)

  • You’ve built rich tools and web apps for use by your team and other internal customers. You’ve made life easier for other developers and have motivated your teams to make both process and service improvements with your ability to automate and instrument properly to get the right data.

  • Deep experience with continuous deployment tools.

  • Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration technology is a plus.

  • Solid understanding of generative AI fundamentals including prompt engineering, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), and fine tuning

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a pragmatic approach to building scalable and robust machine learning systems.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
