Job Description

We are looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer . This position will be full-time and Hybrid.

What You’ll Do

4 to 6 years' experience in working as an Azure DevOps Engineer specializing in Build and Deploy Automation, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated build and deployment processes within the Azure DevOps environment. Your primary focus will be on streamlining the software delivery lifecycle, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability of deployment pipelines.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps tools and services.

• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment o accelerate software delivery.

• Manage and optimize version control systems, such as Git, ensuring code repositories are well-organized and follow best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and system administrators, to understand application requirements and ensure successful deployments.

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on build and deployment activities.

• Implement monitoring solutions to track the health and performance of deployment pipelines.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to builds, deployments, and infrastructure.

• Implement security best practices in the build and deployment processes.

• Ensure compliance with organizational and industry-specific security standards.

• Create and maintain documentation for build and deployment processes, including standard operating procedures and best practices.

• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in build and deployment workflows.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance the efficiency of the CI/CD pipeline.

What You'll Need

• 4-6 years' experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on build and deployment automation.

• Proficiency in Azure DevOps services and tools.

• Strong scripting skills, preferably with PowerShell or Bash.

• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.

• Understanding of security principles and best practices in the CI/CD pipeline.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Physical Demands

• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
